This week Year 4 have undertaken an experiment with egg-shells, looking at the effects of different drinks - simulating how teeth might be affected. Year 5 have continued looking at life cycles.
In maths, we have learned about various line graphs, tables and charts, in statistics. Reading timetables, such as TV listings, is something that could be done at home to support this.
The children have all met their fabulous new teachers this week, and plans are coming together for the required movement of resources between classrooms ready for September. We will be sending books and completed work home - please could children bring in a selection of carrier bags, from Monday, to help them carry it home. We're sure you will enjoy browsing through.
Continue the excellent habits of regular reading, and record this in your child's reading record each day. It would be lovely if, rather than hearing your child read, you could ask your child about the book they're reading and record that in their reading records.
Please complete online multiplication tables, - http://www.timestables.me.uk/index.html and record two scores in your homework book.
