Request for critical worker place – URGENT response required by 5pm today (Tuesday, 5th January 2021)
Following last night’s late announcement of school closures for most pupils, we have managed to open today for critical workers pending making further arrangements from today.
I have had a number of emails from parents requesting places but am not able to process these individually. If you believe you are a critical worker, please read the notes below carefully to check and complete the response form here:
You will need to ask your employer to write to us to confirm that your role is critical to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and EU transition response.
We have opened seven year-group “bubbles” for vulnerable pupils and children of critical workers. We will be able to take a maximum of 15 pupils in each bubble and will prioritise for places based on the following criteria:
1. Vulnerable pupil
2. Both parents are critical workers
3. One parent is a critical worker
Once allocated a place, we would like pupils to attend every day from 8.30 until 3.00.
I apologise for the short time-scale involved and thank you for your co-operation.
Best wishes
Penny Simpson
